Helpful Hints for planning a successful Fundraising Session
Have fun earning money for your school or non-profit organization while making your life a little easier with Time for Dinner.
Are you a member or volunteer for your school's PTO or a non-profit organization? If so, give us a call and we will supply you with everything you need to hold a fundraiser that is fun and easy!
1. 10 orders of 6 or more whole dishes purchased in a session or as a carryout in your school's/organization's chosen session will earn your school/organization a Time for Dinner Gift Certificate for the value of an order of 6 whole IN SESSION meals or a check made out to your school or non-profit organization for $50? (ie: 20 orders of 6 or more earns 2 TFD GC's for 6 dish session or a check for $100)
2. For each newbie (someone who has never ordered from Time for Dinner before and is purchasing 6 or more meals in your designated session) you bring in for your school/ organization your school/organization will receive another $5 towards a Time for Dinner Gift Certificate.
1. Putting the "Fun" in Fundraising Talking Points Sheet - Talking points for your presentation to the group explaining what Time for Dinner is and how your group can raise funds for your cause.
2. Samples of our Famous Double Chocolate Gooey Butter Cake - We'll provide you with enough of our famous tasty treat for you to cook up for you members to sample.
3. Time for Dinner Menus and Brochures - We will supply you with menus and brochures for your members.
4. A Special Session reserved our Website Session Calendar - Once your group has chosen a session date and time, give us a call and we will reserve that session time with your group's name on it for easy sign up.
1. Choose a date - Call us several weeks ahead of time to find out what dates are available for your session. It's easiest to organize a group around a date or time you currently get together.
2. Reserve your session - Once you've settled on a date and time, call us right away to reserve your session. We will then place your session on our session calendar on our website. Now you and your friends can begin placing your orders. It is best to have the orders at least a day in advance but last minute reservations can be made the day of the session by calling Time For Dinner at (314) 968-8463.
3. Send out a Reminder - It is helpful to send out a reminder, a few days before your session, to your invited guests to be sure to remember place their orders and encourage them to invite a "newbie" to earn that extra $5!
